Jennifer's Birthday! Happy Birthday, Jennifer!
"ID Action Day" or "Advocating Change Day" is a free event featuring advocacy training, opportunities to interact with state legislators, and a rally. The keynote Speaker was Governor Terry Branstad and we were able to meet with our State Legislators. In a nutshell, we discussed our advocacy for the disabled in order for the legislators to really see and feel the need for improvements in how we, as a society, care for our own who need us most.
